Membership Rewards Program Effect Analysis
This application analyzes the causal effect of a membership rewards program on customer spending using three approaches:
- A Naive difference-in-differences estimate.
- DoWhy - A causal inference library that implements causal graphs and various causal estimation methods
- Statsmodels - A simpler approach using OLS regression to control for pre-treatment spending
Start by configuring parameters in the Setup tab, then explore both analysis methods in their respective tabs.

Causal Analysis with DoWhy
DoWhy implements a formal approach to causal inference based on causal graphs and provides various estimation methods along with refutation techniques.

Analysis with Statsmodels OLS
This approach uses a simple OLS regression model to estimate the treatment effect while controlling for pre-treatment spending.
